Regular readers of this travel and expat blog will know that the stories and photographs I publish here are based on personal experience of living and travelling in Portugal.
But what about you and your experiences?
If you’ve travelled in Portugal, you’ve probably got tips and tales that we’d love to hear about. After all, we each have different tastes and every trip is unique.

I’m looking for people who’d like to be interviewed about their experience of visiting Portugal
The idea is to publish your answers, along with a few of your photos, on Julie Dawn Fox in Portugal. This way, readers will get a wider perspective of travel in Portugal and I hope to pick up some tips and recommendations that I can follow up on in future trips. If I check out one of your ideas, I’ll be sure to credit you with it.

We travelled in Portugal in a motorhome from December 2011 to March 2012. We absolutely loved it – so much so that, in less than 2 weeks, we leave the UK to head back, this time hopefully permanently! We had kept a blog of our travels (various places in Europe, not just Portugal) and have started a new one to document our move to Portugal. Have just come across your blog and am enjoying the browse!

I visited Portugal in 2010, and an interview would be great. I stayed with an artist friend who drove me all over Portugal. We traveled by bus, and by train from Porto to Lisbon, and also from Porto to Ermesinde. Most of my travel was by car with my friend’s husband driving! I was there in Ermesinde for 3 weeks. If travelling to Portugal from the US – STAY OUT OF FRANKFORT!!! Would love to share my thoughts, and I have a new blog which is in the beginning stages that will share my thoughts of the travels we took. We covered the north from Porto to Vianna do Castelo, to Biaone, Spain, west to Mirandela, Miranda Douro area, sw to Elvas Evora, Caldas da Rainha, and round through Alcobaca, Vila Vicosa ect etc, and then by train to Lisbon, Estoril and of course Simtra.
