Fantastic location. Very interesting building, with plenty of history. Very nice welcome with all the necessary information. Breakfast was lovely. If you like greenery, birds and a nostalgic feeling, this is the place to go.

We loved everything. Starting from the friendly welcome, through the huge ancient rooms. Everything is decorated in an ancient and tasteful style. The villa, the yard and the pool are charming, the location is perfect. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is very tasty and generous, we received a detailed explanation from the owner about trips and restaurants in the area. A big 100-year-old house surrounded by an old forest. Quiet location near (1km) the center of Luso. We were the only visitors that night, but the small breakfast prepared just for us was perfect.

Old family houses always have their own charm. It is especially pleasant when, in addition to the beautiful interior, you are met by very hospitable owners of the house. Vila Duparchy is one of those cases. House is located in a quiet place surrounded by a small forest. There is a pool, the area near which reminded us of the movie "A Good Year". Interiors, rooms are in very good condition, despite the solid age of the house itself. Excellent breakfasts are served on the terrace.

Very exceptional house, place and owners. The house was built in the half of the 19th century and is surrounded by a wonderful (English) park. When staying there one has feeling like returning in times (the same is truth for Luso and Bucaco itself, it has authentic atmosphere of a 19th century spa town). The house has original furnishing, the owners as well as the staff is very pleasant and kind. We had a pleasant swim in a clean hotel’s swimming pool with view of neo-gothic garden house and very good breakfast. Surely most impressive stay during our “grand tour” across Central Portugal, the manor is place with “genius loci”.
