If you’d like help planning your Portuguese Camino, fill in the form below and I’ll connect you with a trusted local specialist who can suggest an itinerary based on your pace and preferences.
You’ll get a no-obligation proposal with carefully vetted places to stay, detailed route notes, luggage transfers and 24-hour local support.
Note: If you’re planning to stay in hostels, this probably isn’t the right fit, as my partner focuses on hotel-based Caminos.
If you’re not sure about route, timing or daily distances yet, that’s fine – this is exactly the kind of thing they’ll help you figure out.
Thinking about adding rest days?
Most people benefit from at least one, especially once the walking starts to catch up with you.
Good places to pause tend to be towns where there’s actually something to see or where the walking before or after is a bit more demanding.
On the Central route, that’s usually places like Ponte de Lima, Valença do Minho or Pontevedra.
On the Coastal route, Vila do Conde, Viana do Castelo or Baiona tend to work well.
You don’t need to have this fully figured out – it’s something the itinerary can be adjusted around.
