If you have a keen interest in photography and are curious about the UNESCO World Heritage city of Porto, read on to learn about Porto Photo Fest.
My talented photographer friends, Anna McGunn of McGunn Media and Gail Aguiar, aka Gail at Large, have pooled their vast knowledge of the city, photography and world-class photographers to create Porto’s first photography festival.
Spread over the week of 11-17th September 2017, this event offers a wide range of practical photography workshops, masterclasses and exclusive dinners with some incredibly talented and inspiring people.
Names like John Stanmeyer from the National Geographic, food photographer Penny de Los Santos and award-winning street photographer Caradoc Bagshaw are among them, as well as agent Norman Maslov.
Specialist topics include street photography, black and white, storytelling, fashion, analogue, mixed media and portraits – see the schedule below for an overview of the festival:
Or visit the Porto Photo Fest website for more information about the photographers, the timetable and tickets.
If you can’t make it to Porto for the photography festival, my post about Porto’s best views should help you take some great shots.
