As my very patient husband will attest, I love taking photos. Wherever I travel, I have a camera at the ready to capture quirky details, glorious flowers and fascinating scenes. As well as using these photos to illustrate my blog posts, some of them have been used to illustrate books, used in a television programme and made into jewellery and cards. You can read more about my journey into photography here, if you like.
I’ve recently started selling some of my favourite images through galleries
In central Portugal, you can find mounted prints that will fit in your hand luggage at Hannah’s Art Gallery in Serpins (Google map reference). Coming soon in the UK, Well House Gallery will have a selection of mounted prints on sale from the end of July 2014. They’re all in standard frame sizes so you can buy a ready-made frame from a shop of your choice.
If you can’t get to central Portugal, I’ve set up a shop on Redbubble where you can choose from cards, prints, canvas or posters of shots you like. At the moment, the main collections feature the doors, windows, tiles and details of Portugal. I’m also working on setting up a shop on my website so you’ll be able to buy directly from me at a cheaper rate.
In the meantime, if you really like a photo on my blog that isn’t in the shop, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what you’re interested in.
If you want to use any of my images for commercial or editorial purposes, simply email me to discuss your ideas.
Welcome to my photography shop!
What do you think? I’d love to get your feedback so please feel free to leave me a comment or drop me an email.
